Geneva Here I Come

It is hard to believe that this night has arrived. I leave from O'Hare tomorrow afternoon around 4:00. I fly direct to Frankfurt, Germany and catch another flight to Geneva. If all goes well (pretty please God, let it go well) I will arrive in Switzerland at 10:20am Swiss time--3:20am central time.

Today started off pretty awful as I had to say goodbye to Lindsay and Cassidy, my amazing friends from Loyola. Needless to say there were tears.

But the day perked up when I went over to visit my big bro Martin who is living in Evanston now. We had a relaxing afternoon hanging up pictures in his new apartment, going out to eat, and spending time at Borders. I'm really looking forward to having him so close next semester.

I received an email from my Swiss family a couple of days ago. They sound incredibly nice--an older couple with three daughters. One is 25 and is married with a new baby (yay more babies!), one is 15, and the youngest is 8. I'm really excited to meet them.

I think I have most everything I need. I just need to get it all in one of my suitcases. Tomorrow morning should be pretty low key, just need to do a quick load of laundry and grab a cab by 11:30.

Love you all so much and I'll be updating soon :)
